Just getting started

I just got my Prop-1 and in the process of setting it up and I already am struggling.  Basic stamp editor cannot find the Prop-1 board.  I know its a real simple fix, but I can't figure out how to find the board.  Using serial cable from laptop to controller board.

Have you downloaded our Prop-1 docs?  You may have the BS1 Serial Adapter plugged in upside-down -- a common mistake.

I got it ....i am embarrassed to say I didn't have the serial connector plugged into the board.  I found it right after I posted it.  Thanks anyway.

As Jon said, it's a COMMON mistake.   I used a nice yellow marker to write "down" on the underside of mine just to make sure I don't do it again.   ;)
