I am changing things a bit and have decided not to run my electric chair by PIR sensor, I would like to activate it using a push button trigger.  Can anyone tell me where i can get a push button trigger for a Prop1 a week before halloween??????

Make two stops:

1) RadioShack
2) Home Depot (or similar hardware store

At RS get a normally-open push-button.  At HD get a short length of 1/2 PVC pipe and an end-cap for it.  Drill a hole in the end-cap to accommodate the button.  Cut one connector off the end of one of our 6-foot extension cables.  Solder the red and white wires to the button -- black is not used.

Assemble and have a good time!

Of course, you have to plug the connector end into P6 of the Prop-1, first!

Thanx again johnny, will i not have to modify my current program from the PIR sensor to push button?

JonnyMac

The program will work fine, as is.  The Prop-1 doesn't know PIR from button, and doesn't care -- it's just an input.
