Connecting my Prop 1 through a port replicater

Am I able to do this or do I need to buy a USB-to-serial adapter?

There's no way to know about the port replicator except by trying.  If you have USB ports on your PC, that would be a safe way to go.

If it helps you out Toad, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T60 with the advanced dock.  I currently have a Prop-1 connected to it thru the serial port and it works just fine.  Didn't have to reconfigure anything to get it to work.

I was not able to connect reliably through the port replicate, which is wired because I have another BS1 based controller that works fine.  I bought the USB to serial and everything is good.
