Hell-o-Vator ride Large Program / Network of parts. Prop 2 - HC-8 - AP16+

I'm working on a huge prop Concept and working to write the Program Codes for it.

I will be linking a HC-8 and the AP16 initial design has 4 inputs and up to 20 12v outputs plus audio.

Is it easier to write the coding how i think it should be done and post it or would it be better to have you help walk me threw all the modules one at a time?

In my opinion, you should use the HC-8+ as the master, and the Prop-2 as a simple slave. We can write a program for the Prop-2 that allows it to accept a "network" command using the same serial connection as the AP-16+.

The HC-8+ is fastly superior to the Prop-2 in programming horsepower, and the availability of multiple processors makes doing thins like emergecy stops very easy. If you'd like to go that way, please let me know and I'll move this thread to the HC-8+ forum.
