RFID readers

Has anyone successfully integrated an RFID reader and tag system with any of the EFX-TEK controllers? I want to build a door access system, but don't know much about RFID readers yet. I am researching now.

I can provide code. I wrote the BS2 (Prop-2) demo code for it when I worked at Parallax, and I recently wrote an article in Nuts & Volts about using the reader with a Propeller (HC-8+)

That is what I will use then.

Which controller do you prefer I use, HC-8 or Prop-2? Then I will go make a thread under that controller for what I need.

Always go with the HC-8+ -- eight 32-bit processors versus one 8-bit processor.
