Newbie needs help

Ok, I have a couple questions about the Prop1:

How many control inputs can you have?

Is there any restriction on how many amps the 12v power supply can be for the prop1?

We are planning on using a prop1 in one of our dark mazes to control 2 effects. Both being tripped by a motion sensor. The first one will include a loud scream, and two strobe lights. The second one will include a talking bucky and a steady LED spotlight, and possibly a fog machine.

Now, I know I'm gonna need a relay board because this is 110v. But, how big of a 12v power supply am I gonna need for the prop1 to run this stuff? How do I wire it to the relay board? Just positive and negative? Don't I need to hook it up to a 110v source somewhere?

i would also check out the rc-4 that efx-tek supplies its a great product and would work for the 110v items.

The Prop-1 has eight I/O (input/output) points that you can configure any way you choose.  Typically, however, we use one as a trigger input, the rest as outputs.

It's not practical to try to use the Prop-1 to control two individual props.  The programming becomes very messy, difficult to maintain, and not worth the effort -- I know, I've tried it for a customer.  The reason we worked to keep the Prop-1 price so low vis-a-vis similar controllers is so that you can dedicate one controller per prop.

As Eric indicates, the RC-4 is a good way to control 120 VAC circuits; it's especially good because with one pin you can control multiple high-voltage circuits.
