Since we keep getting more requests on this stuff, I decided to make a call to the ABA to get the real "specs" on the starting sequence for BMX racing gates. 

Well, no wonder you couldn't give us the specs, because they won't provide them.  I spoke with Bill Curtin (billc@ababmx.com) and he absolutely refused to assist.  He told me that there is a company that makes their gates and a practice gate, and that's were he stopped.  He refused to give me the information that he gave that company to help you build your own gates using EFX-TEK (or any other) controls.  I think this is baloney, but I'm guessing that the ABA gets a cut of those gate sales and doesn't want to give any of it up.  Sorry gang, but I did try.

I don't know about the ABA  specs (we don't use them over here) but I do know NBL and UCI random and will upload the specs for them later. Yes the market is cornered and they make you pay one-hell-of-a-price for the products.
