On your Firefly program, the Radio Shack bulbs say they draw 25 mA each. Do you think it would be safe to hook 2-3 bulbs up to each outpus of the Prop-1, or would that burn up the output chip?

The ULN can handle up to 500 mA per channel -- IF only one channel is running.  I tend to limit my ULN outputs to 250 ma (that would be about 10 bulbs) and can run as many channels as I want with a bit of safety margin built in.
