I found this while looking for the latest version of Vixen for a friend -- it is the location of all the Vixen releases.

http://www.vixenlights.com/downloads/vixen-2-downloads/

We're presently using Vixen 2.1.x.x at K.C.'s direction.  When you unzip the file from K.C.'s site it will have several folders underneath the main.

Prop-1_blank.vix goes into the Sequences folder
prop-1_sequencer_main.txt goes into the Addins folder
prop-1_sequencer_fill.txt goes into the Addins folder

Prop-2_blank.vix goes into the Sequences folder
prop-2_sequencer_main.txt goes into the Addins folder
prop-2_sequencer_fill.txt goes into the Addins folder

I have updated the Prop-1/2 add-in files for input debouncing so that a twitchy input (e.g., PIR) doesn't cause a false start.  I've also extended the pulse period for "contact closure" start (use this with the AP-16+) to the first event period.  Since most vendors have added better input debouncing this should help as well.

Update: 10/11/10

If you want to use the AP-16+ in serial mode, select AP-8 Slot 0 from the menu.  When you open the program in the BASIC Stamp editor you'll see that the AP-16 commands are included, but "commented out."  Remove the AP-8 commands and delete the apostrophe at the start of both AP-16+ command lines to enable them.

Update 09/13/11

There was a line of code missing from the Prop-2 sequence -- it has been corrected and is in the files attached to this post; unzip these files to your AddIns folder.

Update 08/15/12

Updated both sets of files to include a 30-second delay at the end of reset; this allows the PIR to warm-up and creates a delay between triggers.  The audio selection is updated in both:

-- No Audio
-- Contact Closure
-- AP-16+ Serial (SFX00.WAV)
-- AP-8 Serial (Slot 0)

Note that I've also updated the Prop-2 files, provided a blank Prop-2 sequence for Vixen 2.1.x.x, and both sets have AP-16+ commands built in.

Mea culpa, gang.  A customer was having troubles getting a sequence to run a second time and it's my fault; somewhere along the way a line of code which resets the show data pointer (called "record" in the Prop-2) was deleted.  I have restored this and your sequences should now work as intended.

I'm sorry for any trouble this caused.

Just spoke with K.C. -- he told me that we should be using 2.1.x.x.  If you previously downloaded 2.5.0.x at my direction, I'm sorry.  K.C. abandoned that version because it created issues on some machines but not others (e.g., mine; I never had any problems).

Please download and unzip this file: http://www.vixenlights.com/releases/Vixen%202.1.1.0.zip

If you're going to use Vixen for servo and dimmer programming on the HC-8+ you do not need to download the Prop-1 and Prop-2 Sequence Generator files.  You will ultimately need the files from this thread:

The download URL for Vixen 2.0 has changed -- I've updated the topmost post and and copying here:
