Prop1 + AP16 / using servos

I'm trying to put together a talking pumpkin similar to the talking skull. I would like to use the AP16 and the Prop1 controller.
I'm not real sure about how to go about this, but once I get the general idea, I'll be good to go. So, does any one out there have
a staring point and what else I'll need to complete this?

We need some more info on exactly what you want to do. Is the pumpkin going to be static or will it have a moving jaw? How do you want to trigger it?

What do you want the Prop1 to do with the talking pumpkin? If the Prop1 is being use for triggering more then one sound file form the AP16+ and controlling lot of lights, then you will need the Prop1 to do this part. Will servos be controlling the mouth movements on the talking pumpkin? If you are, it would be better to use a Audio to Servo Driver board like the one on Scary Terry's site http://www.scary-terry.com/audioservo/audioservo.htm . It is pain in the butt to program the servos on the Prop1 in sync with the audio.

Here is another way to do this. If you are just turning on a low wattage light and that is it, the AP16+ can to do this. This is how it's done. The AP16+ can be trigger externally when someone triggers a PIR or walks over the mat switch and when the sound file starts AP16+ AUX relay pulls in, which turns the light on and when the sound is done the AUX relay turns off. The Audio to Servo Driver board is connected in parallel to the speaker outputs. That way you can here what talking pumpkin is saying ;D
