ok so after working with the guys at efx tek for a while and im sure much to there annoyance i still am unable to fig out why my prop is not working i hook up everything on the prop one and the little led on the valve gives a very faint glow when it is triggered how ever does not open i am at a loss for what is going on im sure you will need more input from me which ill be more then happy to provide im frustrated and tired and i could use some serious help this stuff shouldnt be beyond me so i dont know if im just not thinking right or if the lack of sleep is catching up to me any help one might be able to provide would be great. just FYI i bought a 2 Way, Direct Acting, Normally Closed Solenoid Valve 110 VAC Din Connector from evilusions to do this with

First off, punctuation might help us better understand what you're saying.  Just saying...  ;)

Just guessing, since your post doesn't include much info to go on, but since the valve is a 110VAC, this cannot be connected directly to the Prop-1 (or 2 or SX) controller. You MUST switch it with a relay connected to the prop controller OR have something like the RC-4 to switch that current.

i got a relay with the kit but i think what the problem is i forgot about it. Its a crydom D2W203F is this what you are talking about ... next question is where does this go

BigRez

Yes, that relay would switch the voltage for the valve.  It plugs right in to the EFX-TEK RC-4 device if you have one of those.  If not, you'll need to wire it up as follows, using the edge of the relay for correct pin numbers:

PIN1: HOT line from your power source
PIN2: HOT line to the device
PIN3: connect to the V+ connection on the controller
PIN4: One of the OUTx connections on the controller

CAUTION: You are dealing with 110VAC which could hurt you.  Make sure your connections are correct and properly sheilded from making contact with any other parts.

Brian or someone else may be able to provide better info.

great thank you for helping perhaps after the haunt is over this weekend ill be able to be more clear headed about my projects

question i only have a prop 1 to work with at this time where should i connect pin 1

BigRez

You're relay should not be connected to the PINs on the controller - it connects to an OUT connection (like OUT0 or OUT1) and V+.

Now you're getting into specific prop-1 questions...  You should probably post a new question in the prop-1 section and include as much info as you can, including how you have things connected.  Also, the prop-1 documentation and several other posts in the prop-1 section show diagrams on how to connect things.
