Hi all,

Simple question.  I am thinking about where to mount my AP-16+ in my rocking chair prop.  I am thinking about mounting it inside the "box" made by the seat of the chair and some plywood I'm putting under the seat.  This box is to make a primitive speaker box to help sound quality, the speakers are mounted in the seat.  It would make it easy to hide everything inside the box.  I'm just concerned about heat.  Will there be a problem?  I can always mount it outside the box, I was just wanting everything to be hidden away.

I hope this makes sense...thanks in advance!

Robert,

The location where you want to mount the AP-16  shouldn't a problem as long as you have some ventilation holes in this box and water can't get in.

No. JB ran an AP-16+ in a foam cooler for several days just to see if it would overheat -- it didn't.

Yep, no worries. I have all of mine sealed in tupperware containers with no problems.
