I purchased a small car stereo speaker (4 ohm  120W max) and some banana plugs to make the connection to the AP16.  The speaker has 2 wires - so I need to use two banana plugs - so can I plug the positive speaker wire in the 'right' audio line level output and the negative speaker wire into the "left' audio line level?  Or there a another way to make these connections can be made mostly because I dont know f I can find banana plugs that are small enough to fit into the audio outputs.

Well, 3 things. The line level outputs of the AP-16+ are not banana plugs, they're RCA audio jacks. You don't want to use these for the speakers, use the screw terminal connections. There are 2 sets of these on the AP-16+, left channel (+ & -) and right channel  (+ & -). Connect the + & - speaker wires to one of these sets. The other set is for a second speaker.
