Flickering "mad scientist" LED lights

I found a new item at a local hardware store - realistic, old-fashioned LED lights.  They're powered by batteries and I figured I could use one of my Prop-1s and an RC-4 to make them flicker realistically.


Inside the battery box is a small circuit board, it's got a timer that turns off the lights after six hours.  We don't need that.



After the board is removed and a connector added:


Then I used a modified version of the code in this post, scroll down to "Delayed Flicker (single channel)" code:

I used an OPTO 22, model DC60MP in the RC-4, with a direct connection from the Prop-1 to the RC-4.  Not sure if the new Amigo board will work the same way with the SSR on it.
