A couple of years ago I bought a Prop-1 controller for a Halloween prop.  The prop was very large, and I ended up controlling it by hand.  I still have the Prop-1.
This year I need a small animatronic dragon prop that my wife will carry on her shoulder as she walks through the crowd.  I would like to have a head that moves up and down and side to side, and a neck that moves side to side.  I would be really pleased if I could add a small amount of rotation (known as roll in aviation) to the head, and fore and aft movement to the neck.  I would probably have to change my pants if I could add blinking eyes, opening and closing mouth, and moving wings.
I can't use programmed movements because my wife wants to interact with the TOTers.  I was thinking of using a hidden hand controller, made from a video game controller.  Can the Prop-1 accept input from a game controller joystick (or some similar device) to control servo motors?
If the Prop-1 won't work, do you have any suggestions?

If you're thinking about a USB device then no. 

As it happens, today -- right here in Las Vegas -- I worked with the tech guy for a very famous magician.  He wanted to know how to read four flex sensors and convert that into servo movement.  It's not hard, really, just use the POT function and scale the result to fit within the parameters of PULSOUT for a servo.  These flex sensors are going to be in a glove on the performer's hand.

I'm not thinking of a USB device.  Not even a device that is programmed using a USB port. ;D
That flex sensor idea is great.  It would be perfect for what I want to build.  How did it turn out?  Would you be willing to share information on how it was built or the code used to make the flex sensors operate the servos?
Would a Prop-2 be better for this project, in order to control more servos?
