Can you provide me with or point me to a wiring diagram from the Prop1 pins to a PC serial port?  Is there any sample code available for the use of SEROUT to a PC?

The Prop-1 does not have a standard serial connection to the PC.  You can use the Serial Inverter to do this (using True mode), or, if you look in the PBASIC help file, you'll find a circuit that uses a DB-9 connector and a 22K resistor.  I used the latter in the early days of my BS1 experiments.

SEROUT is SEROUT -- doesn't matter if it's a PC on the end of the line.  You just need to know what mode (True or Inverted) your connection requires.
