activating a car battery powered prop?

I'm in the process of building a multifaceted prop that includes 12v & 120vac (via RC-4) features, and now I'm in the process of adding a 24vdc electric pallet jack.  I was thinking the best method would be to use a relay, but i'm not sure if there is a relay I can use with the RC-4 or if I need an entirely different relay.  Please let me know what you think would be the best way to do it.

A relay would be best; we've recently found that when mixing voltages (e.g., 12v and 24v) on the Prop-1, the Prop-1 should be powered by 24v and 12v should be used externally.  All Electronics in Van Nuys has a bunch of suitable relays, for example:
