AP 16 Firmware Suggestions

In my initial experimenting with the AP16, I am quite pleased with the player as an all in one sound control device.

For those of us wishing to power a Prop-1, or other accessory, off of the V+ and Gnd terminals, is there a way to have that terminal go active when the AP16 is powered up?  This way a single power switch could power on/off the whole system, which is especially useful in simplifying the designs.  My guess is this request would need a hardware adjustment to the board, but I thought I would throw it out there.

I initially was powering the AP16 from the Prop1's terminal(NOT the updated higher Amp Prop-1), but the potential Amp draw would overload the Prop-1's capacity pretty quickly.  John B recommended powering the other way around, but now even with the AP16 powered OFF, the Prop1 is still ON.

One thought would be for the relay to be activated on power up, and connect the accessory to the NO/Com, or NC/Com terminal instead of V+/Gnd.  But would this damage the relay being On all the time?

I know there are ways to do this externally, and will adapt if that is the simple answer.

PS Thanks for all the new products to play with, and or course support along the way!

Ok...duh... easy answer.

Put the main power switch for the system on the ground wire of the pig tail supplying the AP16.  I guess all that rambling on the last post is irrelevant now, but at least it got me to answer ;).  Maybe there's still something useful in there. ???
