Does anyone have a good source for SD cards with rated good transfer rates. I need 10 right now for Ap-16 projects. I will need many more soon. I don't want to go to best buy and buy individual cards though.

I get mine at Fry's Electronics.  Remember, you're playing audio and you don't want to go too cheap as that could bite you later.

I've had great results with these in the 1GB version. Not sure if the 1GB is still available but the 2GB should be fine.

I definitely don't want to cheap out and have it cause a problem. I just didn't want to go to best buy and only be able to buy 1 or 2 of what I need at a time.

Jon, I looked at Fry's.

They have a 40x, http://www.frys.com/product/4817470?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

and a 133x, http://www.frys.com/product/4534617?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Think I will be safe with the 40, or should I just get for the better one? I am not trying to be cheap, but when I go to buy 50 of them, 2 bucks a piece adds up.

I've never had any trouble with the 2G Patriots but looking at them now I see there is no class rating.  I would try to get cards rated at Class 4 (circle with 4 in it) or higher, just to be safe.

I picked up 6 Sandisk Class 4, 4gb, SDHC cards. With an AP-16 updated to the newest firmware, I still have to save my wav files as 22050 instead of 44100 so that they don't cut off half way thru playing. I am going to pick up some class 6 and try those next.

There seems to be a pattern of the higher capacity cards having problems. I would stick with lower capacity, even a 1 GB card has tons more space than you'll ever use for the AP-16+.

I would love to , unfortunately Best Buy and Radioshack had nothing smaller than a 4. Even on amazon the lowest capacity I can find with a class 4 or higher rating is an 8gb. That's the reason I started this thread, if anyone can find small capacity cards with a fast enough transfer rate, I will buy a bunch!

Like I said, I've had great results with Ultra cards from TigerDirect. They don't have a transfer rate on them but the ones I've used work perfect and they're cheap. Maybe give one a try and see if it works well for you.
