Is it possible to develop programs using PICBasic Pro, compile, and then load into the PIC micon on the Prop-1 with something like the PICkit 2 from Microchip?  I'm familiar with the In Circuit Serial Programming header configuration, which has 5 pins.  There are only 3 programming pins on the Prop-1.  Is there a pin configuration/connection anyone can recommend?  Or am I out of control and this post is inappropriate?  :-\

The EFX-Tek Prop-1 is built around the Basic Stamp - just get the appropriate USB adapter and download the software from the Parallax website.  Links are on the home page of this site.  And there are plenty of example programs in these forums you can learn from, with friendly people who will answer your questions.  I have learned a lot from this place!

No. The Prop-1 MCU (PIC) has is an OTP (one time programmable) that has been burned with the BS1 interpreter.
