reversing a download

I've lost a program on my lap top. Is the a way to retrieve a program off a prop-2? I want to make a back up in case something happens to the board or if I want to adjust the program.

No, there is no way to retrieve a program that's been downloaded.  The source code is compiled into compressed tokens that the PBASIC engine uses -- even if you pulled the EEPROM from the board and read its contents it would not be usable.  Sorry.
