Hey all,   I am new to the prop controllers and sound recorders.  I'm hoping that somebody has had this issue and has solved it.

I know that this isn't really a prop1 or 2 question, or even a EFX-TEK issue, but I'm hoping that somebody will take pity on a poor noob ;D

Last year I purchase one of the Cowlacious servo controller boards and loved it.  This year I purchase three of the CAP200 and One of the CAR/P200.  I'm running into an issue.

I have tried recording and I know it is, but the sound is so faint.  I've tried recording from three different sources.  First was my big desktop computer, then I tried my laptop, finally I tried my iPod.  Even with all sources turned to the max and the volume on both units up as high as I can go.  I can barely hear anything with the speaker volume at the max.

I am running it though powered amplified computer speakers and I have tried using sound software to boost the volume, but that just comes out sounding pretty bad.

I even tried the headphone jack on the speakers and turned it up, that was just so distored I can't use it.

I really want to get this to work, because I would like to trigger these off of my Prop1 and 2

Any suggestions?

This is not a tech support forum for other vendors so this thread is being locked.  Carl is a great guy; go get help from him on his product.

Yeah, yeah, I know a lot of other companies allow users to post tech support questions that don't belong; well, we're not one of those companies.  Please don't make me get ugly... and in case you're wondering, I can get really ugly:
