Jon -

Saw your post stating you're out of the AP-8 and we'll have to wait for the AP-16 [http://www.efx-tek.com/php/smf/index.php?topic=905.0(What Hardware do I need?) ]

What info can you share about the AP-16 ?  do you have pricing and release info for it yet?  Will you still offer AP-8 devices?

Thanks,

JonnyMac

I'm going to be careful with details as it has been in development longer than we wanted (thanks in part to Windbond not releasing information on their new ISD chips).

* 16 segments
* Uses the ISD17240 with selectable 12 kHz, 8 kHz, and 6.6 kHz sample rates
   -- storage of audio at 12 kHz (best) is 160 seconds (2 min, 40 secs); 240 seconds (4 mins) at 8 kHz
* Rotary segment selector (no figuring out DIP switches)
   -- selector segment does not affect external control
* BOA (big ol' amp); more than 10x the audio output power of the AP-8

I will not answer any more questions about the AP-16... John and I are too busy working on it!
