The RC-2 is a member of EFX-TEK's family of "amigo" boards: plug-and-play solutions to common prop and display circuit interfacing challenges. The RC-2 provides two Form C relay contacts that allow Normally-Open and Normally-Closed switching of AC and DC circuits up to 5A.

The RC-2, like other "amigos," exemplifies "plug-and-play" for prop control. Simply plug one end of an 14" or 68" extension cable into your prop controller, the other into a channel on the RC-2, wire your circuit to the RC-2 output, and you're ready to go. When the controller output is active, the selected relay on the RC-2 will be as well. An LED on the RC-2 input will show you when a relay is active. Controlling a variety of devices from your favorite prop controller couldn't be any easier!

The RC-2 is perfect for the Prop-1, Prop-2, Prop-SX, and HC-8+, and is fully compatible with most microcontrollers -- this means you can freely use it with your BASIC Stamp, Propeller, and Arduino circuits with ease.
