The SSR-2 is a member of EFX-TEK's family of "amigo" boards: user-friendly, plug-and-play solutions to common prop and display circuit interfacing challenges. The SSR-2 provides two solid-state relay outputs that allow Normally-Open switching of 120/240 VAC loads up to 4A.

The SSR-2, like other "amigos," exemplifies "plug-and-play" for prop control. Simply plug one end of an 14" or 68" extension cable into your prop controller, the other into a channel on the SSR-2, wire your circuit to the SSR-2 output, and you're ready to go. When the controller output is active, the selected relay on the SSR-2 will be as well. An LED on the SSR-2 input will show you when an SSR is active. Controlling AC devices from your favorite prop controller couldn't be any easier!

The SSR-2 is perfect for the Prop-1, Prop-2, Prop-SX, and HC-8+, and is fully compatible with most microcontrollers -- this means you can freely use it with your BASIC Stamp, Propeller, and Arduino circuits with ease.
